In its 33 years of operation up to June 2021, the venue had hosted 49,184 events and welcomed over 126 million from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Asia and the world!
It’s one of the world’s most impressive event venues, and also one of the most-photographed architectural icons along Victoria Harbour, with its 40,000 sqm aluminium roof soaring like a seabird in flight.
Boasting 306,000 sqm gross area and 91,500 sqm of rentable space, HKCEC continues to evolve and expand, with the latest technology to support physical and digital event programmes.

The Art Basel (27- 29 May 2022)
- 130 galleries exhibited, including 75 galleries participating with a satellite booth and drawing private collectors from over 30 countries and territories, as well as representatives from leading international museums and institutions

- It’s possible to walk in leisure to and from HKCEC under cover, rain or shine, to neighbouring Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, the Convention Plaza office tower, serviced apartment tower, shopping arcade and underground carpark. The Exhibition Centre Station is right next to the venue giving you easy MTR ride to the Kowloon area in just 5 minutes.
